About us:
Lark & Raven Wellness Centre is a new private practice that offers therapeutic and educational services to individuals, caregivers, families, and professionals dealing with bereavement, grief, and end of life challenges.
Other areas include : chronic pain, medical trauma, oncological support, life transitions, caregivers support, life-limiting illnesses (dementia, auto-immune disorders etc.), and anxiety.
We’re building a team of part-time independent contractors to provide counselling services to different populations as well. We are looking for people who can support individuals, couples and families, as well as people who have an interest in providing group therapy.
About the Role:
This is an independent contractor position ideal for a psychologist who is EMDR-trained and/or ART trained, with strong experience in grief and trauma counselling. The successful candidate will work with children, teens, and adults, and feel confident supporting complex grief, including traumatic and suicide loss.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Our contractors are practitioners that prefer to focus primarily on clinical work and feel comfortable having core business tasks (such as billing, marketing infrastructure, and administrative systems) provided and supported by the practice. They enjoy contributing to promotion and community visibility while not carrying the full weight of private practice management alone.

Qualifications:

Experience working with complex PTSD, trauma, traumatic bereavement, medical trauma, complex grief, attachment trauma, and chronic illness/pain.

Experience working with all ages 5+

EMDR or ART trained. Preference if you have a passion and skill for these modaliteis.

Somatic therapy interventions and integration

Demonstrates a trauma-informed, attachment, and culturally sensitive approach in their counselling practice

Competent in working with Major Depression, Grief, and PTSD

Carry your own liability/malpractice insurance.

Provisional Psychologist or R. Psych
Contract Requirements:

We are looking for a therapist who can give us 2.5 days of availability for our clients.

At least one evening or weekend availability
-
Ability to maintain approximately 5–10 client sessions per week.
