A community offering supportive services in grief and end-of-life care. Through different modalities, we offer therapeutic services that encourage hope, healing, and dignity. 

Our Wellness Team

In-Person Calgary Therapists

All of our therapists that work in Calgary are highly trained to work with grief, trauma, and mental health challenges. They are able to provide sessions virtually across Alberta or at our office in Calgary Alberta.

 Kimberley has a vast knowledge in working with complex families, domestic violence, and childhood trauma. She also provides grief counselling and palliative care support.

Support for caregivers and families that are experiencing terminal illness, oncological diagnosis or other life limiting illnesses.

Areas of identity shifts, life transitions, adult attachment trauma, and immigration.

Specific Approach: an integrative tapestry of evidence-based practices, expertly weaving together modalities like Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Approaches.

Areas: Grief (non death loss included), trauma, anxiety, depression, neuro-diversity, grief, non-death related grief/loss (e.g. leaving a job, the ending of a relationship, etc.), trauma, stress, relationships, sex and sexuality concerns.

Clients: Individual, ages 11+

Specific Training: Master of Education in Counselling Psychology Student at UofL

Crisis intervention, Applied Suicide Intervention training (ASIST), Brain story certification.

Coursework training in: Learning and Counselling theories/interventions, Perspectives on yoga and meditation, Indigenous Knowledge Systems, cultural diversity, human sexuality and sex.

Areas: Grief (including grief over death, anticipatory grief, and non-death related loss such as leaving a job, the ending of a relationship, etc.), end of life care for both the dying and their caregivers, trauma, relationship concerns, self-esteem and self-acceptance, emotional regulation (anxiety, depression, low mood, stress, anger) and distress tolerance, boundaries, and communication.

Clients: Individual, Adults (18+)

Specific Training: Integrative trauma and attachment treatment, transactional analysis, family trauma and domestic violence, emotionally focused family and individual therapy, CBT, motivational interviewing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Sessions in person or virtual

Some of our therapists are only virtual and those that work in person offer services at our location in the SW of Calgary. Therapists that offer in person services can also provide virtual sessions if preferred. 

Psychologists and our practicum student are only able to provide services in Alberta for people residing Alberta. Psychologists can provide virtual services for those in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick (insurance coverage may not be available).

Canadian Certified Counsellors are able to provide virtual services across Canada.

Kerry Schroeder & Associates

Kerry Schroeder (she/her), CCC

Specializing in neurodiversity, with a focus on Autism, ADHD, anxiety, and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA). She provides client-led, low-demand therapy tailored to neurodivergent children, teens, and adults, prioritizing nervous system safety and authentic connection.

Her practice includes play and sand tray therapy, talk therapy, and consultation services to help families navigate the unique challenges of raising neurodivergent children in a way that honors their autonomy and needs. Kerry’s practice also offers assessments through her neuroaffirming team.

As a neurodivergent clinician and parent, Kerry is passionate about creating affirming, accessible spaces for those who often feel misunderstood. In addition to one-on-one counselling, she provides education and resources for parents of neurodivergent children through online courses, workshops, and her social media community.
