For Adults

Alberta Health Services Grief Support Program - Calgary Zone offers individual and group services. Grief groups are offered from September to June each year. There is a waitlist and sessions are limited. Services may delivered virtually due to COVID-19.

Alberta Hospice Palliative Care Association You're Not Alone - Grief Connection matches grieving adults with trained volunteers who have had a similar grief experience.

Compassionate Friends of Canada offers peer support in the grief and trauma which follows the death of a child; no matter the age or cause.

Caring Beyond Peer Support Group for parents who have lost a baby due to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, neonatal death and termination due to poor prenatal diagnosis.

Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Centre provides individual and group supports and education for anyone who has experienced the trauma around miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), or infertility.

McInnis & Holloway Olive Branch offers grief support and educational services for the community.

Community Links Airdrie Grief & Loss Support Group offers education, coping tools and strategies, as well as support while individuals cope with their loss.

Wellspring Online Bereavement Support Group - Family offers a peer support group for family members grieving from a death from cancer.

For Children & Youth
Bernie's Buddies Peer support for youth to interact with other youth who've experienced a death loss in their lives. They participate together in a therapy dog visit, yoga exercise movement and mindfulness, and creative grief conversations.​

Kickstand Suicide Bereavement Support for Youth (virtual) provides youth (18-25) who are grieving a loss of anyone to suicide with a chance to learn and process their grief together with their peers in a safe and supportive space.
